DAY OFF, journal of a burnout

This ongoing project takes the form of a series of short episodes conceived as a visual diary. It reflects on my exhaustion as a freelancer in the creative industry and its impact on everyday life. The piece above is the pilot episode, Entry 1: The Shower. Since I create these pieces during my days off, the rules of the project are simple: I work strictly with my phone and whatever is immediately around me. Each episode must be rehearsed, filmed, edited, and shared within a single day. Each episode is created at the close of a project, capturing the aftermath and residue of the process.

True to the spirit of the project, I’m currently two episodes behind my own deadline.
